IIM Guwahati is being developed in phases. In its formative years, the Institute is operating from a Transit (Temporary) Campus, while the Permanent Campus is being planned and developed. IIM Guwahati is being currently functioning from its Transit (Temporary) Campus at Tech City, Bongora, Kamrup, Assam. The transit campus supports the Institute’s initial academic operations and provides essential facilities for classrooms, administration, student support, and academic engagement.
What you can expect at the Transit Campus (as available / evolving):

IIM Guwahati’s Permanent Campus is being planned at Marabhita (near Palasbari), Kamrup district, Assam, and is being developed to support a full-scale IIM environment—academics, residences, research, student life, and community engagement.
